The office was established in January 1968 Since 1973, the office is a member of APA (Alexandria Port Authority). The office represents all Egyptian insurance companies and more than 250 foreign insurance companies as their survey agent either within Egyptian harbors or at consignees' final destination all over Egypt. The office also provides services to foreign shipping companies, Egyptian Navigation Companies and suppliers. Providing its services, the office depends upon 183 qualified surveyors, well trained workers and administrative stuff.
